Don't Look Down Devlog Week 2

This week we only had two days in the studio, but I was able to complete two particle assets and implement one of them in engine.

For the fire I had to use niagara's scratch pad to map the colors of the particles to that particle's velocity, so that it looks more like fire with the light parts on the inside and the red parts on the outside.

I then found a better way of doing it that still fit the art style and provided a smoother transition using scale color.

This system is in line with the low poly art style and it really fits the vibes of the games I am pretty proud. I also added a sound and smoke emitter that follow the same style.

The other particle I made was alright, a more subtle particle for when the player grabs onto a ledge. I am going to add a sound emitter to this one once the grabbing sound effects are in engine.

I ended the week with some bug tracking, and I don't know if the level design or code is on pace to be done with the sprint by the end of next week.
