After reassigning the rest of the audio editing work to someone both more eager and capable than myself in sound design, I resumed work on adding and adjusting wiki entries, namely the quick time events for characters' "3-Star KOs", and helping to guide communication between the teams.

We incorporated animations into the actual game build, which is strong progress, however they are quite buggy and will take time to adjust and perfect in Unreal. Our team meeting yielded promising results as the coding team has made great progress towards a playable product, and the art team is warming up to modeling and texturing in 3d.

Over the course of the next week, I aim to contribute to the game's music, and I have completed one track already.

My development began with the bass and percussion, so that the intensity feel of the game shows through the music. Then I took inspiration from Asian instruments like the Erhu (or Chinese violin) in making the leads, however I made it sound more synthesized to give a modern, upbeat feel. I kept a somewhat high bpm and made the track easily loop-able so that it would work well in the 99 second intervals of the fights.

Next week I will continue my work by implementing the rest of the songs present in the upcoming demo, that being the menu/character select and possibly another stage theme.
