Kung Food Development Week 7: 10/10-10/14

Over this week, my team and I worked to refocus since last week's game jam. We held a meeting Thursday to discuss our roles for the upcoming demo.
Aside from production, the majority of the work I did this week was familiarizing myself with Unreal's Niagara particle system, so that I can help implement some assets. I am progressing through a beginner and then advanced tutorial on my own so that once the actual particles are finished, I can implement them.
I also assisted with directing the game's UI and helped to foster communication between the artist and coder working on UI.
Lastly, I we made progress towards our sound design by re-recording voice lines and drafting music, however I am concerned by our lack of a designated, committed sound designer to edit the audio.
Next week, I aim to finalize the music draft for track 2 of the game, and I will either proceed to work on particle implementation or fully shift towards sound design if that field remains developmentally static.
